Everything about this place was a great experience. I somewhat recently had to switch to a gluten free diet... the adjustment wasn't too bad, but I was sure missing sandwiches! My family and I came here and we tried the breakfast sandwich with ham, the grilled ham, Swiss cheese and Dijon sandwich, a vanilla doughnut and coffee. I was so happy!, Both sandwiches were yummy, but the ham and Swiss sandwich was extra good! I also have never been a huge donut fan, but I really, really liked the vanilla doughnut. The staff was friendly... and patient! took me forever to decide what to get because it all looked good! The food came out quickly and was very fresh tasting. The restaurant itself was clean and kept up. Would highly recommend this place. I cannot wait to visit again!

Overall, I enjoy this place. I like that each menu item clearly identifies possible allergens (i.e. milk, eggs, etc.), and I love that I can take my son here and he can order almost anything he wants. The cinnamon rolls are amazing, and they taste just as good or better than their gluten-filled counterpart (just make sure you eat it warmed! When it cools the texture changes). I love that they offer a full menu, along with beer, wine, hard cider, and kombucha. I also think they do a decent job with the espresso drinks. Here are areas that need improvement, which I only share because I want Kyra's to make the necessary changes so that they stick around for a long time! 1. Atmosphere-could use some improvement. I never feel like staying to eat there, or meeting up with friends to chat over coffee, because it feels so sterile and uninviting. Would be nice if they made it a little more cozy with some ambience! 2. The prices are steep, and the bill adds up quickly. 3. Espresso bar- please use local products! Would love to have a healthier alternative to the chocolate that's used, Ghiradelli powder just seems so... gross. Why not use Holy Kakow, which is local, organic, and most importantly responsibly sourced. Also more organic milk alternatives would be appreciated. If I want junk milk/alternative milk products, I can just head down the road and pay considerably less at Peets. 4. The customer service here is mixed. I've had great experiences, and then not so great experiences. Some of the girls working here have had attitude and come across as annoyed or inconvenienced that I'm ordering from them. I had a drink made wrong, and wasn't comfortable asking them to fix it because they already seemed so crotchety. So I just dealt with it. Also, there is a serious lack of speed when it comes to bringing food or drinks out. Even when it's not busy, I'll notice many of the workers moseying about, taking their sweet time. One time I finished my food long before my espresso drink was finished, and when I went to check on it I noticed that the girl had started the drink but hadn't finished it. Instead she was chatting with another employee. When I asked her about my drink, she said it was almost done, but then actually turned around and finished her convo before finishing my drink. Completely unacceptable. Customer service goes a LONG way, and can make or break an establishment.

I recently went gluten free for Type 1 diabetes. Occasionally, I do still crave sweets so I decided to check this out. I will agree with the others, the inside seating is stark and not so comfortable or inviting to want to stay; however, there is seating on the patio during the summer months that is covered and shaded. That being said, I had a pig pink sugar cookie which was delish, but very sweet - you can not even tell the difference. I took a gluten free hazlenut chocolate cupcake to go. Expect to pay steep prices, about $3.60 per cookie and $4.10 per cupcake which kind of threw me, but mind you it is in the Beverly Hills of our city. I did notice day old remanants for 20% off which doesn't seem like a deal. All in all, I am just happy to have a place to cruise too down 43 from Sellwood if I am craving something sugary which is bad for me in instelf, but add the white flour and its worse.

I finally made my way to Kyra's on recent trip to Portland and was so glad that I did. The bakery case had an extensive selection of cupcakes, cookies and pastries. But it was lunchtime and I was more interested in a sandwich. I ordered the turkey, bacon and swiss sandwich made on their homemade bread. The bread was divine - layers of doughy goodness and slightly crispy on the outside. I could eat the bread alone all day long. The sandwich came with chips and a pickle. After lunch I ordered a red velvet cupcake. That too was moist and the cream cheese frosting just right. I wish I had the chance to order more but after my gluten free food crawl in Portland my stomach had had enough for the weekend.

Amazing. Stopped in to Kyra's for lunch with my husband and a friend, we ordered the BLAT, turkey bacon ranch and chicken bacon ranch. All three were delicious! I ordered a DF pumpkin spice latte cupcake to go and a coconut cappuccino which was wonderful. Service was fantastic and we were able to sit outside on their patio and enjoy a beautiful late summer afternoon. Awesome lunch all around and we will 100% be back.

Obviously, as a Celiac chick, I love this place. I go everytime I'm in Portland. They have really grown since I started going years ago. They are masters at gluten free baking! Their cupcakes and cinnamon rolls are the stars of the show I think. The best gf cinnamon rolls I've ever had hands down! Their bagels are just ok - might be better toasted. Their breakfast sandwiches are a nice addition to the cafe and are really good. They're huge! You can definitely share one. Their dinner rolls are delicious if you heat them in the oven for a little bit. I haven't tried their cookies yet, but I'm sure they're good too. I always spend too much money and eat too much food whenever I come!! Can't help myself!

First maple bar in 5 years! I was on the verge of tears! Delicious, clean, trendy place. It is on the spendy side, but a treat well worth it.

Went there to meet a friend for coffee and conversation. Although the pastries in the display looked yummy (mostly cupcakes) the latte was luke warm. Opted to not stay as the tables were very uncomfortable and the place was cold. Went elsewhere with friend. Will not be back even for dessert. Previous reviews looked like the experience I was having.

In the beginning, it was simple. Crave Bake Shop was a boutique, gluten-free bakery specializing in cupcakes which had national acclaim after the owner was victorious (repeatedly) on Cupcake Wars. The original location was teeny, tiny and had only one elevated table (no chairs), so you would grab your goodies and go. After a few years, a business name change (oh those pesky trademark disputes), and relocation to a larger space, I have to admit that I'm a bit confused by the current incarnation of the business. Rather than a hidden cupcake gem, Kyra's Bake Shop is now a full blown cafe and in many ways the cupcakes have become a secondary concern. Now, I'm not saying that this is the wrong business decision considering all the other cupcakes stores that have closed in the Southwest metro area, but it is an interesting shift in this case because they were 'famous' for their cupcakes. Have no fear, because they still offer a vanilla, chocolate and a Cupcake Wars winning option daily, along with a couple of other gourmet cupcakes, but don't walk in expecting to see a case full of cupcakes. To get exactly what you want or for a larger order, you'll need to order in advance: kyrasbakeshop.com/wp-con… . For walk-in customers if you want something interesting, you'll pay $4.60 for one of their extra-special cupcakes and a basic cupcake will run you $3.60. That is spendy for small bakery item. Even though they are now a cafe, the gluten-free focus is carried throughout the rest of the menu. What is amusing to me is that the drink menu (coffee, beer, wine, mead (?!?), cocktails...) is more expansive than the food menu which is relatively small with just a few sandwiches, salads and sides. Compared to their last location, the indoor and outdoor seating areas are huge, but not necessarily the most comfortable seating. There is also a peek through window at the back of the cafe to watch the bakers in action. Personally, since I don't have gluten issues, I'm more likely to continue to visit Kyra's for a cupcake or bakery item rather than a sit down meal. And based on the current options, it is really just A-OK for me.

This is a well-located shop near Lake Oswego's civic center, on the corner of "A" and Sixth Streets. Lake Oswego is an upscale community, so expect to pay upscale prices. I did enjoy my sandwich and coffee, with a quiet moment to write a few notes and consider a few issues. Parking seemed adequate for the brunch/lunch crowd, and the service was prompt and pleasant. The smooth concrete floors contribute to a garage-like acoustic, but that did not interfere with conversation. Sandwiches cost about twice the price of a sandwich chain but...you get what you pay for, and the sandwich was nicely prepared. I pass this way occasionally and don't remember having seen this shop before, but I'll look for it when next I'm in Lake Oswego.

This is more than a gluten-free bakery. They also sell a few beers, salads, sandwiches, quiche, etc, and ALL are gluten-free. We split a grilled ham and cheese that was wonderful. The bread was soft and tasty. We also tried carrot cake and "birthday cake" cupcakes. These were easily the best gluten-free cupcakes and bread I have ever had. The locally brewed Ground Breaker IPA was also delicious. I wouldn't have known any of it was gluten-free!

Only went here once, for it is on my way to work, and I finally got curious. I haven't tried a cupcake yet...but I did try a muffin. A little bit pricey for the food..but it was ok. The coffee was good as was the customer service. $9.50 for coffee and two muffins seemed like bit. Anyhow...glad that I tried it.

Delicious cupcakes for gluten free people. They are the best cupcakes I have taste for Celiac's . I tasted the marshmallow chocolate cupcake with popcorn bits on top, the cake was super moist and airy with a great fluff to it and my friend had the cinnamon roll and said it was like something you could get at a fair. This is a must try shop for any visiting celiac. :)

Wow! Better than any cupcake I've had with gluten or dairy! I had the DF Hot Chocolate cupcake and it was melt in your mouth amazing! Such a cute little bakery!

Rarely do I award 5-star reviews but to me, customer service takes the cake. I decided to take a road trip to Portland, specifically to Kyra's Bake Shoppe in Lake Oswego. In total it was a 6 hour road trip for gluten free treats and I don't regret any of it! Kyra's is a large space with a glass counter at the entrance. There were both sweet goods and hot food items. The girl at the front counter helped me decide what to pick out. Some cupcakes (chocolate marshmallow, raspberry lemonade, and birthday cake), a raspberry jam scone, brownie, and a pretzel dog. I haven't yet eaten breakfast or lunch and decided to try something reminiscent of a county fair and what I consider ultra American food: the pretzel dog. Served with a pack of ketchup and mustard, it was a pretty simple small meal. I haven't eaten anything similar to this before, I think it could use more to give it flavour but I think kids might find it more of a palatable food choice. Next time I'm opting for the lasagna, it looked quite delicious. My favourite cupcake was the chocolate with the marshmallow frosting. Next the raspberry lemonade cupcake, it had a nice flavour. My gluten-free adverse husband liked the vanilla cupcake (birthday cake), I found the base a bit chalky but liked the frosting. The brownie was delicious, that I would order again along with the chocolate cupcake. Raspberry scone I had a few days later with some tea. What makes this a 5 star review? I purchased a mug from the bakery and it turned out to be smaller than the mug I was supposed to receive. Kyra's shipped a new mug to me, and I think that is worth every star. Not all businesses attempt to make their customers happy or care to have return customers but Kyra's does. Next time I'm in Portland, I will most definitely visit Kyra's bake shoppe and I think it's even worth driving our Canadian visitors down for a day trip.

This place is A-ok. What I purchased: three cupcakes and a tea Total price: $15 (with a little tip included) Atmosphere: Once you get past the potholes in the driveway (be careful turning in), the inside of Kyra's is very clean and simple. I really liked it. It made me want to sit there with a friend and chat the afternoon away. Service: Friendly and efficient. I am always grateful for a cashier that is mildly assertive and will ask who is next in line instead of just staring. Definite plus. Tea: Good tea, not a huge selection. Cups and lids are compostable. Cupcakes: Here is where this place loses a few stars for me. The cake part was on the smaller side and the frosting was huge. The cake for the birthday cake and milkshake cupcake tasted EXACTLY the same. Maybe they were the same and I missed it. The frosting also tasted very similar and overly waxy. It left me disappointed. Peanut butter cupcake definitely had a very distinct flavor and was my favorite of the three I tried. However, the small cake-part issue is still there. Suggestion: Eat the cupcake with a fork to get a better frosting/cake ratio. Perfect place for an afternoon tea and treat with a friend. Friendly hint: Want a cupcake to go? They have great to-go boxes for your cupcakes that will keep them in pristine condition until you get home. Question: Can you dry out a texture? See sticker on abovementioned to-go box.

I was excited to try Kyra's new bake shop in Lake Oswego, I had heard about her story and how she won the Cupcake Wars on the Food Network, not just once but twice! The bakery and cafe is very pleasant, new inside and a nice open area in front for outdoor seating. The bakery creations are amazingly tasty, I am surprised how perfect the textures and flavors are, I would never guess the items were gluten free in a taste test. I sampled a scone and also had a cinnamon roll, both were delicious! The service is friendly and the atmosphere is busy like most cafes during morning hours. I was helped right away at the counter and asked about the food menu, which is currently just a chalk board of menu items with no prices, has a few sandwiches for ($7-9), salads ($6-$10) and a soup of the day ($6). The drink menu has a wide assortment of everything from coffee and tea to wine, beer and sparkling drinks. The prices of the GF baked goods are a bit on the high side since ingredients are high quality and not as abundant as regular wheat flours. Overall, this is a great place to meet up with a friend for lunch or coffee and treats. Even if you don't have an allergy to gluten, it's worth trying Kyra's creative and tasty baked goods!

I had heard a lot about this place and decided to make a trip specially for the cupcakes. I tried 3 different cupcake flavors: the mango tango, hot chocolate and banana split. All three were amazing! My personal favorite was the banana split, the frosting was delicious and the cake so moist! Can't believe all these were gluten-free!

  • Janelle B.

The service was super friendly and very helpful! The cinnamon rolls were gooey & delicious! By far the best gluten-free bake shop I've ever experienced (everything is 100% gluten free!) and everything is labelled for allergens. Fantastic!

Kyra's is my daily stop for a rice milk latte. I can't tell you nice it is to have a place that can make one for you. But today, the stars aligned when tried their gluten free dairy free coconut ice cream sandwich. And it tastes better than any of the old ice cream sandwiches I had as a child. Just love this place!

I am visiting family in Tualitin and went here for breakfast. Workers are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean, cute and spacious enough. I have only tried the breakfast sandwich and coffee, but I got a cinnamon roll to go. The bread on the sandwich is kinda moist/dough-like and delicious. The only thing about the sandwich I wasn't crazy about was the egg. Seems like it would taste better if it was more of a scrambled egg instead of a scrambled egg patty. Coffee was decent, free refills in drip. Looking forward to my roll later today. :) I would recommend this place.

The best gluten free cupcakes on the planet - no wonder Kyra has won Cupcake Wars 3 times! The Ding Dongs are fabulous, love the Tall Dark & Handsome cake, and everyone already knows about the to-die-for Cinnamon Rolls. The new lunch options are a good mix of healthy and decadent, so there's something for everyone (gluten-eaters included). The hazelnut milk lattes are delicious too. The new shop is gorgeous and open, and they're adding new items every day. I'd recommend it to everyone - as long as there's Cinnamon Rolls left for me.

I was out in the area and checked out yelp for a place to eat. My daughter has a gluten allergy so we were happy to find Kyra's. The place is cute from the outside and clean. The counter and menu board is nice. But, I will agree with most of the reviews about the chairs. They are so uncomfortable. And when they talk about it being cold...they aren't talking about the temp. The seating area is..blah. a vase with a single flower would be an improvement. It just needs a bit of color. My girls and I ordered the BLAT... Bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato on a homemade bread. It was awesome. The Bacon was crispy, just the way we like it. The bread was great. Wasn't heavy or dry like a lot of GF bread is. I had an ice tea. It was weird they didn't offer refills. I've never been to a place that didn't refill ice tea. For dessert, I got the hot chocolate cupcake. It was chocolaty goodness. It had a toasted marshmallow on top. Very moist cupcake. My girls got the maple bar. It was awesome. Very dense and rich but not dry. Their sandwich variety is a bit lacking. I think there were only four our five to choose from. The alcoholic menu was more vast. Are they a deli/bakery or a bar? The BLAT sandwich was $8.00. Its a decent price for a good sandwich. It was a good size too. The desserts are spendy. It would be an occasional treat but, not affordable for a weekly visit.

Great selection of cupcakes, very creative. They offer a ton of hot and cold beverages (including alcoholic drinks) I was hoping for a larger selection of food, but my quinoa salad was tasty. We also bought a variety of cupcakes for my mother in laws birthday... she loved them! Her favs were the birthday cake and hot chocolate.

Went here this morning for the first time and I feel a bit silly since I've lived in Lake Oswego forever. First of all...THE CINNAMON ROLL. Cinnamon rolls aren't even worth my time if they are dry, flaky and flavorless. This cinnamon roll was heated to perfection, covered in gooey cinnamon filling and icing, and totally hard to resist. I wanted to eat the wrapper. I had the dark roast coffee and split a breakfast sandwich with my boyfriend. Friendly staff, clean establishment....total win for LO! Thanks, Kyra!

Happened upon this bakery driving through Lake Oswego. Saw the sign on the window about being a three time winner of cup cake wars, so we decided to stop. Like it was said in a previous review, the cup cakes were very small for the large price and the frosting was very waxy and not very good. We ordered a few cup cakes in a box to go. The chocolate one was way better than the white ones, and even though we ordered different flavors, both white cupcakes tasted exactly the same. Nothing different about them at all. It was amazing though that they were gluten free and didn't taste like it, the texture was perfect! Another complaint was the 15% gratuity added to our order. What's that all about? We didn't sit at a table and order anything. We didn't have drinks or food brought out to us. We stood at the counter and ordered cupcakes to go that were put into a box and taken to the register so we could take them with us. What was the tip for?? That should be up to me to give if I feel it should be given. It should never be expected unless you a restaurant and I am with a large party where your tip will definitely be earned. Sad to say we will not go back. Not worth the money we paid + tip.

We continue to visit Kyra's a lot... We really enjoy their updated menu including sandwiches (Breakfast & BLTA). I love their pink sugar cookies and we often order custom celebration cakes. They do a fantastic job every time. Our son's 5 year cake was a hit & tasted incredible despite being dairy, gluten & nut free. One star taken off because you can no longer call to find out what's offered for the day (have to physically drive in and we live about 20 minutes away). Also because the prices are extremely steep. Regardless we continue to visit often. Super yummy!

Nice spot in lake Oswego with parking, I like that they have hazelnut milk for their lattes. I love the idea of being gluten free however very few of their products exclude other major allergens. I was limited in my options (as I usually am but being a gf bakery I had some higher hopes) being gluten free, dairy free, egg free, and soy free. Do get the bagels though! Nice service.

  • Kate F.

I had to average my stars; the cinnamon roll gets 5+++, the cupcake my friend had was a meh 3 stars. I want to send every person who can't eat gluten to Kyra's and have them order the cinnamon roll; it's unbelievable. There's cute seating both inside and out (some reviews say stark? disagree!) and there were a lot of things I wanted to try. Tasty.

This bakery is truly one of a kind. It's unique style and level of perfection is unparalleled. It's impossible to find a star quality bakery in your own backyard. We are very fortunate to have kyras bakery and all their talent here locally. You can expect that the food will be excellent, their staff will be courteous, and any when you need items for a special occasion the entire process will be professionally handled. All around a great place to hang out or hold coffee style business meetings. Also, they serve lunch and have alcoholic drinks!!

I've been to a lot of gluten free bakeries all over the country. Before I had celiac, I had non- gluten free baked goods from all over. Not once did I cry over any of those bakeries. (Not even the good ones.) Then I went to Kyra's. I took my cinnamon roll (something which I hadn't had in years, let alone of quality) and ate it in my car, crying. It took me back to my childhood, rolling out hand made dough and smothering it in spice and sugar, then baking and eating them with my mother and grandmother, God rest her. That's not even mentioning the cupcakes, of which I've never had the like. Incredible. I've brought several friends to Kyra's, and will continue to recommend it, even to folks who don't have gluten issues. I met the lovely owner once, at a gluten free expo, and she was so kind and welcoming, and I really appreciate knowing that there's a heart behind the treats that make my future of gluten-less survival so much less bleak. Thank you Kyra and crew. You are amazing.

The service here is atrocious. Every time I've been here I've stood for at least 10 minutes to order because the front counter was understaffed with one individual packaging to-go orders and operating the register. The last time I was in here we ordered a breakfast sandwich and apparently there was a miscommunication between the register and the kitchen (which is across a 4' counter). After sitting with our number on the table (high quality placard with a half erased hand written number on it) for 20 minutes we asked what the eta was for our food only to be informed that they hadn't made it. Apparently this communication malfunction was a known issue and rather than follow up on our order the employee at the cash register stood around talking to coworkers about their personal lives. The employees walked past our table many times apparently never noticing that we had an order number at our table and never checked to see if we had received all of our food. They offered to refund the money we paid for the item and then sent us on our way- even a massive chain like Starbucks realizes that they should do something to make it up to the customer when they screw up, apparently Kyra's has no need for such considerations. Beyond this the location feels like sitting in a prison cafeteria: it's always cold and there are hard surfaces everywhere creating an environment that isn't conducive to having a conversation because it echoes sound back-and-forth across the dining area. The chairs are terribly uncomfortable similar to what you would expect to sit on back in fifth grade. The food is significantly overpriced for what it is. There really isn't a lot to like about Kyra's and there are better GF options in the Portland area.

So I love this place, but it's getting two stars because the past two times I've been here there were serious issues. The bread on the sandwich was greasy and soggy, cupcakes were dry (esp the mimosa). Bone dry. Please go back to paying attention to details! This place is a god send to allergy sufferers!

  • Irene S.

I've been here a couple times now, considering that it is gluten free the cupcakes were better than I thought they would be. I like the ambience and the people are super friendly. Its not my favorite cupcake place and I'm not a gluten free person but I know people who are. So knowing that everything in this bakery is gluten free and so tastes good is awesome because I can always get a nice baked treat for my gotten free friends

First of all, the food is delicious! The sad part is I've been here many times and the employees are downright rude, they act like they are doing you a favor by taking your order. I'm not talking just one time, but many times. They are grumpy and act like they hate their job. My girls are always excited to go here because they love cupcake wars and where thrilled when Kyra won and it is one place they can go and order anything. My advice to her would be to get some employees that appreciate what she has created. We will not be back in the near future.

I've been to Portland many times and each visit must include a trip to Kyra's bakeshop. This was my first time in the new shop and it is so beautiful. Kyra is most known for her cupcakes & cinnamon rolls, but I was so impressed with the new breakfast sandwiches and lunch items--soup, grilled cheese? Yes, please! They have also added a coffee bar with espresso drinks and they even serve mimosas and cocktails (!). If you are anywhere near PDX it is so worth the short drive to quaint Lake Oswego to check out Kyra's Bake Shop!

Great new location with fully expanded delicious offerings. Love the housemade soups and salads. Also excellent panini sandwiches. Of course, the award-winning desserts are truly outstanding. Every time I go in there are new and unique creations. Reasonably priced for world-class gluten free (or any) baking. Great atmosphere too. Love this unique place. Lucky to live close enough where I can come in often.

The best cinnamon rolls in Portland hands down. GF or not! Love the addition of food menu! We've enjoyed the tuna & grill cheese!

We tried Kyra's cupcakes when a friend brought them over. We had the pink champagne, the birthday cake, and the smore cupcake. They were all divine! The flour is better than regular flour in my opinion. Better texture and taste. The chocolate cake was very decadent! I look forward to my next Kyra's cupcake!

Yikes! I had high hopes for this place but was disappointed. The build out is cute though the food not so good. If you have celiac and/or go into anaphylactic shock due to Gluten I'm sure this place is a blessing and I hope it stays open for business. If you are looking for a lunch spot and don't need gluten free I wouldn't recommend. Also not the most ideal for kids. The PB & J is $5 and comes with nothing. It's tiny and is on bread one inch thick that falls apart if you try to pick it up. My 3 year old licked the jam and wouldn't go near the rest. I can't blame her. Also don't try to get any snacks out of your diaper bag. Certified gluten free means no crumbs on your shirt are allowed in the establishment and its enforced! Didn't stay for a $5 cupcake.

Ok, so I am rating the cupcakes only here. I see the other reviews and can't review anything about the service or other foods. Kyra's was hired to make cupcakes for my son's wedding today. They delivered them on time and they looked amazing. Even after sitting on the display table for several hours they were by far the best cupcakes I have ever tasted. And then to know they were gluten and dairy free, I was blown away.

You can not beat their wonderful gluten free baked pastries! Hands down, the best, that is five stars! Her new shop however is two stars. I hope she is still working on making this new shop better! The seating was horrible on these old plastic lawn chairs. We were there at 11:00 am and we did not have a whole lot to chose from. Plus it was 50 degrees outside, my phone said it was 61 degrees inside! Way to cold to set and enjoy ones self. But I guess in the end I am here for her gluten free goodies!

    (3)
  • Elizabeth O.

Service was ok, the food was fair. The seating area was very cold and breezy. Overall, I was not impressed enough to return. I was hoping to have better things to say, because we had been waiting for the new place to open. I also agree with what another reviewer said, about some of the baked good being inconsistent.

    (2)
  • Dick C.

Why did they move to a big expensive location? They offer nothing more than a cup of watery soup and a sandwich at the new shop. Staff needs an attitude adjustment as well. Petunias is looking at Lake Oswego and that would be the stake in the heart for this place. Should have just kept the original, new does not mean improved and better.

What a wonderful treat. Off day anything goes! Cinnamon rolls and maple bars. What am I doing. Stop and eat. A coconut chai latte...yes

Sunday morning stroll to new location, beautiful building with ample space to enjoy a treat! The ladies behind he counter didn't match the ambiance. We ordered chicken curry salad, soup and cinnamon rolls. The prices don't match the portion. If you're looking for gluten free sweets, you've come to right place.

Desserts were okay, but the snotty attitude of a cashier was too much to ever want to return. You're selling Danishes, not a cancer cure; get over yourself.

I've visited here two times recently. The first time the person at the counter was incredibly rude to us, but I assumed she was having a bad day so I just ignored it and was pleasant and kind hoping to help her mood improve. Today I brought another friend and again we were greeted by a very rude person at the counter. Her coworker realized she was behaving poorly so she worked over time to be polite and helpful. I went to a meeting shortly after and told everyone what had happened many replied that they've had the same experience when going there and that's why they no longer eat there. I will be joining the ranks of those who will no longer eat there. If you can't get customer service right you shouldn't have customers.

Love this expanded menu. Whether you are gluten free or not, this food is delicious. Great for a quick bite or a leisurely stay with a friend.

Good food, nice people helped me. Were out of the flavors I wanted. They are busy! Happy to see them doing well. Sisters coffee they use is also a favorite of mine when I go to central Oregon.

Had there tiny scones at the old place, not bad, but small. Went in today to their new digs and was about to buy a flattened cinnamon bun and it was $4.25. Are you serious? The thing looked like it never got a rise of any sort and the price, sorry. Left.

This has been my second trip to Kyras. My first trip was the valentine's day box. i was not thrilled with the cookies. However the Meringue sandwich was amazing. So were the cupcakes with the feeling. My second visit was for my birthday cake. It was decorated beautifully. i chose lemon cream frosting, on lemon cake with raspberry filling. I honestly was really unimpressed with the frosting.... I mean it was smooth but I didn't taste much lemon at all.... I had the same lemon issue with the cake, very light.... it was kind of dry too... The filling was really good though. Everyone loved that. I guess what I have to say about Kyra's; Some things they just nail, like chocolate cake, Meringue, and ganache, I think the decorations were beautiful. However, I don't feel they do lemon well, and from the sounds of it other white cakes aren't wonderful. I wouldn't say this is the last visit, but now I know what they do well.

We were celebrating my son's birthday out of town, and were seeking a great cupcake place. I had never seen or eaten a Kyra's cupcake before, so was rolling the dice when I ordered 120 of the "shooter" size cupcakes online. The online ordering process was super easy; I ended up with a combination of six different cakes and frostings. Sent someone to pick them up and all went off with out a hitch. I also chose not to disclose the gluten-free nature of these little treats to the guests, and no one had the slightest clue. Proof that GF can be just as tasty!

My friend and I went in to Kyra's Bake Shop yesterday and had the hot chocolate cupcakes. So incredibly delicious! Oh, I can't wait to go back again!
